Sal's Message September 27
Some of us may have wanted to stay home, but many showed even with the weather not so nice. It was good to see so many of our sisters and brothers together in His Name. We started with pray and received. a word of prophecy, { Tonight My Children Come To My Cross For A Healing. }--at the end of the evening many of us did so. If not we went home and prayed in front of our own cross.-- The readings were many:--Micah Ch. 6. ver. 6-8---Psalms 27---Colossians Ch. 4. ver. 2-6---and then we had a Blessing of Children: Psalms- 127-ver. 3-5--Psalms 33-ver.11--Psalms 22-ver. 30-31--and--Psalms 128. ver. 3-4. If you have the time this week please reread the bibles verses. We sang many songs, and had deep prayerss for all our needs. The evening was a sharing evening on the Bible and how certain things touch us. Sharing was very strong, and there was a lot of laughter also. Our Lord is so great, We Love Him So Much, and coming together each week builds our Faith and Love In Him. Thank You Father for this Prayer Group. We will meet next Monday on Oct. 4, at 7:30 p.m. and just a reminder the following week is Columbus day weekend so we will not meet on Oct. 11, because of the Holiday. I will send out another reminder. Love in Christ, Sal

Sal's Message September 20
Take a small group of people, place them in a Chapel, start with prayer, and then song, and soon you will feel the Holy Spirit touching you and surrounding you in this Holy Place. Yes, Yes, Yes, it is great to gather in His Holy Name, coming together after a busy day at work or home. Thanks Lord for this Prayer Group. We offered many up in prayer tonight, and we received a word, {{ My Children, My Word Will Guard You and Direct You, So Listen Carefully.}}--The Readings were--Isaiah Ch 41-ver. 8 -and-Psalms Ch. 4. We had two teaching tonight. Anne shared how the Lord spoke to her and her husband this week through a magazine called Living Faith. They are in a limbo state with trying to buy and sell their home. The Lord did not give them the answers but more importantly He let them know that He knows about their concerns and is in the midst of everything. The Lord speaks to us in many many ways. The other teaching was about the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, read Luke: Ch.11-ver.9-13 or Matthew Ch. 7-ver. 7-11 both of these passages tell us to keep on asking, seeking, and knocking day in and day out, seven days a week, fifty-two weeks a year, so we may keep receiving what we are in need of. Remember the Holy Spirit is a gift from God bestowed upon us by His Grace. So start studying and finding out all you can about Him. Until next Monday, please bring you Bibles and sharing for this is the last Monday of the month. Until them God Bless. Sal
Sal's Message September 13, 2010
The night began with a downpour of rain which did not stop many of us from attending our prayer group. Praise the Lord. As we prayed for the Lord to touch our hearts, He did just that. You could feel His presence. A word of prophecy was given, {{ My Children, My Children, Come To Me With Open Arms, And Allow Me To Heal You. }}--the readings were:--1 John Ch. 2-ver. 24-29--and--Psalms 112. Another word was received: {{ My Child I Hear Your Cry And I Hold You Close To My Heart. }} Mary Ann did the teaching on Love Your Life, about how important we are and that we have a purpose, " You are a Person of Destiny" so let us not say " I Cannot but say I Will. Let us go out and show others the Jesus in us. Yes we can. We shared and ended in peaceful prayer. Until next Monday have a blessed week. Thank you Anne for leading our group while Janice and I were away, and again thank you Mary Ann, yes you are a gift to this prayer group, as well as each of us, because we are each growing deeper in a relationship with our Lord. Praise God. Sal

Sal's Message August 23
With great joy we gathered together in His Name tonight. Yes, Jesus is the Way and with our hearts filled with His love, we sang and praisee our Lord. A word of prophecy was given: { My Children listen closely to My words tonight for they will guide and direct you.}--also--Anne spoke about the Lord's goodness in each of us and the beauty around us. We must see this beauty and know that it is from Him. The readings were from Isaiah Ch. 55--and--Ch. 6-ver. 8. The teaching was on letting loose your praise, and sharing from Isaiah Ch.1- ver.17 -Learn to do good; seek justice, rebuke the oppressor; defend the fatherless, plead for the widow. God wants worshipers with hearts full of love for Him that will overflow in good deeds for others. We could feel His presence and we are grateful for this prayer group. May we continue to grow stronger in the Lord. Next week please bring your Bibles and any sharing you may have. Anne will be leading the prayer meeting . Also the following week is Labor Day weekend, so we will NOT meet on Sept. 6, but will return on Sept. 13, to praise and worship our Lord. Have a safe holiday weekend. Sal's Message April 16
We started not in the chapel, but in the church, because there was work going on in the chapel. So setting up and then settling down took awhile. But that did not stop us from allowing the Lord to come into our hearts. He is just a Great God. Mary Ann brought her guitar and filled the church with her music. This opened us up to fill our hearts with the love of Jesus. The readings were:--Psalms- 17---Psalms - 18--ver. 3-4---Psalms 81--91--and--Matthew Ch.22-ver. 34-40. The teaching was given by Geri and she did a great job, allowing us to keep in mind what the Lord wants us to do, what road to walk on, being open to others, and finding happiness through it all, and much more. Thank you, Geri. You are a gift to God. Next week we will gather in His Name. Let us try to attend and allow the Lord to work in our life. God Bless. Sal

Sal's Message August 9, 2010
Thanks be to God for giving us this Prayer Group, and the Church and Chapel to pray, praise and worship Our Lord. Tonight as we sang and listened to what the Lord is asking us to do, through His words in each song and the one bible reading which was Psalms 71. I believe sometime this week we should stop and read this Psalm. A word was given--{ My Children You Have Heard Time Will Heal All Wombs, Well My Children Faith and Trust In Me, Will Heal All Wombs.}---The teaching was from John 4: ver. 35--and--John 15: ver.5. We must recognize when someone is ready to hear about Christ, and also remember He who abides in me and I in Him, bears much fruit, for without me you can do nothing. So let us place ourselves in Christ, read His word, and allow the Lord to work through us. Next week if Geri is still up to it, she will be doing the teaching. Please come to support her. Thank you and God Bless, Sal

Sal's Message July 26, 2010
With a full moon outside and our hearts waiting to be filled with the Lord's presence, tonight we gathered with love for Our Savior and love for each other and our prayer family. The readings were: Psalms 54--Psalms 138--and John 17- ver. 1-5. The evening was beautiful as we sang along with Mary Ann's playing and listened to the Lord speak to us. Yes, He did. Tonight was sharing from the bible and our lives. We heard many interesting things, but most important we heard we are to Trust. Trust in our Lord and how He works in our life. Can we do that? Coming each week will help us learn how to keep our faith and trust in the Lord. We need this prayer group and each other. Until next Monday, have a blessed and safe week.

June 21
Last night's prayer meeting was smaller in number but the Holy Spirit was with us as we prayed in adoration of our God and gave thanks to Him for all He has given us. Our singing could have been better but I'm sure God was smiling if not laughing with us! Please know that the needs of each of you and your families were remembered in our prayers. Through discussion and sharing we encouraged each other to read God's Word. If you feel God is not speaking to you, pray to the Holy Spirit for His Gifts and read your Bible. God does speak to us through His Word.
Next Monday evening we will again worship our Lord. Lindy will give a teaching on Forgiveness. Hope to see you. Anne

From Sal, June 14
What a beautiful evening we had with our Lord. We enjoyed the singing and felt the presence of Our Lord right by our side. The readings were:--Psalms 149--Acts. Ch. 19-Lamentation Ch. 3-ver.22--and--Matthew Ch. 15-ver. 29-31. We received a word {{ My children The journey ahead may be difficult but your arrival will bring you peace.}}The teaching was on Profitable Knowledge from Psalms 119-25-32. Some people devote more time to learning about the Bible than to discovering its message. Let's not get sidetracked by statistics but prayerfully study the content of the Bible to discover what God is saying to each of us. Manny shared on "Do not be Afraid", go in faith for God is at our side, always.. The next two meeting will be June 21 and June 28. Please bring your Bible for an evening of sharing. Please support our sister in Christ, Anne as she leads the prayer group. I will be on vacation June 21 and June 28. Our sister, Lindy will do the teaching on June 28. There will Not be a prayer meeting on July 5 because of the Holiday but will return on July 12. Have a blessed few weeks and enjoy the Holiday. God Bless Sal
From Sal, June 7
With the joy of the Lord with us tonight, we began sharing with some of our sisters and brothers in Christ. After opening prayers we began to feel The presence of Our Lord. Then the music started and while Mary Ann played and sang we felt Jesus was in the chapel. A word was given {{ My Children take what I offer to you tonight and share this with others.}}--The readings were: Psalms 121--and--Ephesians Ch. 14- Ver. 3 and on. The teaching was on the Word, a tape by Brendan Case. He said to go to John Ch.8 Ver. 31 and 32. We must get into His Word daily. We should also find one person to share with, getting into the bible everyday. Remember the Bible is the place where God wants to talk with us. LET'S TRY HARDER TO READ HIS WORD DAILY, EVEN FOR A FEW MINUTES. We share after the teaching and ended in prayer. There were many Sisters and Brothers present tonight it was great to see so many. Until next week, God Bless you and your family. Sal

March 29 Message from Sal
To each of us this is an important Holy week. And yes, we who came tonight began the walk with Jesus. We prayed to Him and sang and allowed ourselves to feel and listen to His words. ( My Children take time this week and allow Me into your heart, for I am a loving Father and you are My Children ). There was a reading from Psalms 121--another word was heard--(I will heal your pains ). We prayed some more and then shared on prayer, how important it is. We must tune in to God's presence. Wherever we are, God is present to us. We need to turn off the mute button and let prayer happen. We thank the Lord for getting us here and left with the Lord in our hearts. Next week there will NOT BE A PRAYER MEETING, we will return on April 12, at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Pplease try to come and join us in a night of praise and worship with our Lord. Until then Have a Bless and Happy Easter. Love in Christ, Sal and Janice
March 15 Message from Sal
The night was damp and raining, but as we gathered in the Chapel we started to feel the presence of Our Lord. We began with prayer and at the quiet time Sal heard the Lord ask each of us to carry a nail in their pocket to remind them of His suffering and dieing on the cross for us. Carry this until Good Friday. The reading were: Proverbs Ch. 3---Psalms - 38---John Ch.15- ver. 1-12---and Matthew Ch. 5- The Beatitudes. A teaching was not given but we shared about the cross, and our lives and Sal read a short poem on "When I say, I am a Christian". which made us think. We look forward to next week, and try to carry that nail in your pocket to remind yourself why He died for us. Have a safe and bless week. God Bless Sal
March 8 Message from Sal
Tonight was different as we began in silence. There was something going on in the church so we could not start with song, so we opened with prayer for about 15 minutes. Many came tonight and The Lord was with us and the Holy Spirit touched each of us. A word was given ( I Am Here My Children fear nothing and place your trust in Me.) The readings were Psalms 25- ver.22---John 4 ver. 24-26---1 John 2 ver.24-27. The teaching came from Lindy. What a blessing. She shared on Having Faith In God, Mark ch. 11- ver. 2-25. We must measure our faith, and know what to do with our faith. We have a choice. And we must read the bible, trying to learn God's word, opening and hearing what He wants us to hear, by daily getting into His Word. We must trust also His word given to us. Lindy shared so much more. She has a special gift and share it with us, learning the word of God. Thank you for a great teaching. Many needed prayer and how powerful that time was. We are so thankful for this prayer group, a place to come when we are weak, and a place where we become strong in Our Lord. Until next Monday at 7:30 p.m. may the Lord keep each of you in His Loving Care. God Bless. Sal

Jan 11 Message from Sat
Thank You Lord, for getting us out tonight because we all were needed as we gathered in prayer in your Blessed Name. You never know what each week will bring when you come to the prayer meeting. Some evenings are stronger with the Lord then others. Tonight was very strong. The readings came from Psalms 34-and-Psalms 100. The teaching was also from Psalms 42-43, Where Is Your God? When we need Him, Where is God? We found the answer in Psalms (42: 11, 43:5), It says "Put your hope in God", and also from Hebrews 13:5- "I will never leave you nor forsake you". We also learned that we need to go to the altar of God and meet Him face-to-face. There in His presence we will find fullness of joy. Let us try it this week. May God Bless and keep you safe. Sal

Tonight was quiet. We were small in numbers so we did what the Lord told us to do. Two or more in My Name, and so there was. Sal's Message
The joy of The Lord was with us tonight. Yes, His presence was felt in the chapel. We had many blessing, first Mary Ann and her gift of music filled the chapel. Then we had Rich #2 lead us in a teaching. We received different words. { My Children behold the wonder of tonight, because tonight you will be fed spiritually}---( Tell Me child what is heavy on your heart and bring it to the foot of My cross)---{ I have called you by name and you are Mine}. The readings were: Psalms 103-ver.1-8---Psalms 65---and Psalms 63. The teaching tonight was given by Rich #2- on Faith when feeling Forsaken. He described good and bad days(normal) even as Christians. He went on to share about the little engine that could, and how with faith we must be like that engine to overcome bad days. You can reflect on Psalm 22 verse 1-ver.8-ver.19-ver.27 to the end. Also John 12-ver.36 and John 14. ver.1. We left tonight with an understanding of how to get through difficult times and trust in the Lord, and ask for prayerss from our prayer family and friends. I would like to thank Rich also for helping me tonight because I was not feeling well. Until next week, try to read these Bible ver. it may help you. God Bless each of You. Sal

Sal's Message
Tonight was a true example of what our prayer group is all about - coming together to pray for one's needs and healings. I believe that our Lord works through each of us, especially tonight. Before I shared we received a word { Come to Me all Of you who are burden and I will give you rest }----The readings were: Matthew Ch. 11-Ver. 28-30----Matthew Ch.`12--Ver. 18-21--Psalms 32---and---Psalms 63. Prayer was the center of our meeting tonight and we saw how the Lord works when we come together and pray for ones needs. The Lord is Good and we can turn to Him in any situation, and He will show us the way. What a powerful evening! Next week is the last Monday of the month. Please bring your bibles and plan to share. Until then have a safe and peaceful week. God Bless Sal

Back from being away for one week because of the Holiday, it felt so good to return home to our prayer family. We began with small sharing and then prayed and continue to feel the presence of the Lord touch our hearts. A word was given, {My Children you shall find strength and healing in My words tonight so listen carefully.}---The reading were: Psalms 19---Psalms 122----and---Psalms 9- ver. 1-11. The teaching was on The Power Of God's Word. Are we truly listening to God's word, when we hear them at church or at a prayer meeting? The word of God has power and authority. His words have the ability to save us. We must listen closely. Try it this week. We ended in prayer and look forward to next week when His words will come alive again. Until next week, God Bless, Sal

Response from Bill on Aug 10th Prayer Meeting
Sal -I thought your son did a wonderful job. He was very 'forceful' very animated very focused and hit his 'message' hard. I know that he had us, all, thinking about what he was trying to drive home.
BUT--it was a very difficult 'message' for us to come to grips with so easily.
Try to focus on God--not focus on all of the trials and tribulations that face us on a daily basis--BUT--- that is exactly what we have to try to do. He is right.
Very tough to do-- but he is right.
You and Jan are surely very proud of him and with good reason..
It seems he would make such a wonderful Teacher.
We have to continue our prayers for him. He is the kind of person we need teaching our kids.

This evening was special for Janice and me. We had our son Steven in from texas and he came to the prayer meeting and did the teaching tonight. The teaching by Steven was powerful and he gave us a lot to think about tonight and this week. He shared on God's promise to us, and reminds us of many things we should be doing to keep us close to Our Lord, like getting into His word. He told us what BIBLE stood for, ( Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth). Everyone enjoyed his teaching. Thank you son for a great job tonight. Next week we will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Also do not forget Debbie's Pool party on Aug. 22, Sat. at 2:00p.m. all our invited, call for direction. God Bless Sal

Tonight was again a night of prayer, praise, and glorifying The Lord, and so we did. We missed Mary Ann's music but we sang, and guess what we were not that bad. A word was given, { My Children allow some quiet time this week, and I will guide you.} The readings were: Psalms 95----Romans ch.1 ver. 16-17----and---1 John 3-ver.1-3. Using God's gifts also shows others our love for Him. We shared a little and ended with prayer knowing how much the Lord needs us and wants each of us. Until next Monday at 7:30p.m. Have a safe week. Tonight was a night of sharing from the Bible or open sharing. We started with prayer song and praise which is what we do each week. But what I saw tonight was the love of Jesus shining through our Sisters and Brothers eyes - the light of the Lord shine right through. We had a word { My Children when the road is difficult fear not, I will be by your side.}--Many readings. John Ch. 3-ver.31---2 Thessalonians ch.3---Proverbs Ch.2-ver. 1-8---Psalms 1. The sharing from so many touched our hearts, and we left knowing that our Lord was right there beside us. Thank You Lord for a beautiful evening of sharing and prayer. Until next Monday have a safe and bless week, please keep cool. Sal

We need to be part of such a family if we are going to be obedient to God.--We had open pray and beautiful music tonight and left as always with the Lord in our hearts. Next week we will be sharing with our bibles or if something touches you this week youcan share on that, so please bring your bibles with you. Have a safe week and God Bless. Sal

As we gathered together on Monday evening, it was great to see Bill and Evelyn back with us. We must pass this message on to others. Until next Monday at 7:30 p.m. May the Lord Bless and Keep each of you safe this week. Sal

We gathered in Father Anderson Library tonight, and wherever we are the Lord is with us. A word was given ( I believe My words will touch you tonight), and for each of us tonight they did. We sang and felt Our Lord surround us. There was a reading from Psalm 23--and--Psalm 71. The teaching was on our devotion to the Lord. Faith is so important to have and tonight Our Lord told each of us that faith is not the belief that God will do what you want. Faith is the belief that God will do what is right. So He asks each of us to do something that reveals our faith. God will respond. He has never rejected a genuine gesture of Faith. NEVER. We ended in prayer and will meet next Monday in the Chapel at 7:30 p.m. Have a great week, and keep the Faith. Sal

We must pay attention to the things that are critical to our happiness, like family, children, health, friends, and our favorite passions, like Jesus Christ. The title of the talk was " The Mayonnaise Jar and Two Beers," you had to be there to understand. We ended in prayer and felt the love of the Lord as we left. Next Monday is a Holiday. We gathered in prayer and praise tonight in the chapel. As we prayed and sang songs, and listened to Mary Ann's beautiful music, we felt the Lord touch each of us. A word was given, { My Children at times you may feel weak, but fear not I will be you strength.} Bill confirmed this word. His son was speaking to him earlier and told him the same thing. That to me is a confirmation of the word. We had a reading from 1 John ch. 1- ver. 5 ---10 and Psalm 34. The teaching tonight was given by Lindy, and what a beautiful and powerful teaching she gave. It was called, "Believe God In Troubled Times". She shared how God protects us in troubled times. We need faith in what God tell us. We must read the bible more. She shared that the bible is a gift and you should open it and start reading it. We ended in prayer. Next Monday in the Chapel we will share on different bible verses and how they may have touched us. Thank you Lindy for tonight. You did a great job on your teaching. The weather outside was damp and rainy and the numbers inside were few but two or more in His Name to pray and praise our Lord is all you need. Tonight began with quiet prayer and continued with prayer requests. This time became very special because we each could feel the presence of Our Lord touching us and blessing each of us. A special peace came upon us. Thank you Father for making this so special. We prayed for each prayer member by name that could not make it tonight and raised their needs to the Lord. Until next Monday at the Chapel, may the Lord Bless and keep you safe this week. God Bless, Sal

It was great to be back in the Chapel and we also were blessed with Mary Ann's music tonight. The Chapel was filled with music, praise and songs. A word was given, { My Children be aware of My Presence and I will fill you with My Love.}-There were readings from 1John2-ver. 5-10----Mark 14-ver. 28-31. Phyllis read a poem called "God's Hands" I will write it at the bottom. The teaching was on Worry or Trust. When we have a problem we should bring it to Christ just like Mary did at the wedding, from John2-ver.3--"When all the wine was gone, Jesus' Mother said to Him, "They have no more wine". She took the problem to Christ, and that is what we also must do, bring our problems to Christ, and trust in Him. Next week there will not be a prayer meeting because of Easter Monday but we will return to the Chapel on April 20 and we are blessed. Lindy, will be doing the teaching. I hope you all can make it. Until then have a Blessed and Happy Easter. Love in Christ, Sal and Janice.
God's hands are all over the world, And no matter what people say God's hands are visible You see them every day. God's hands are creamy white, His hands are a golden tan, His hands are darkest ebony And rough from sea and sand. His hands can be young or old. His hands reach out in climates warm or in the coldest ice and snow. You've seen his hands so many times For God uses hands of those he loves For things he needs hands to do! If you've reached out to do His will.....Your hands are his hands too!

Tonight we came looking forward to hearing a tape from a Charismatic speaker, is Maria Vadia. Before we spoke we received a word, { My Child take hold of My hand and fear nothing for I am with you.}--Her talk was titled, " So that they may all be one." We must always praise the Lord in all things. We must walk by faith with The Lord and believe. Her love for The Lord is so strong and her praise and worship is so powerful. Listening to her we all can learn a lot. We all shared on how her talk touched us and we ended in quiet prayer. We had fellowship and shared some more. Next Monday we will be at the church, at 7:30 p.m. We will not meet on Easter Monday but will return to the Chapel after that to praise and worship our blessed Lord. If we do not see you, have a Happy and Blessed Easter. Love in Christ. Sal and Janice.

Sal's Message
Tonight we found a special peace within each of us and the Lord. We sang and praised Our Lord, even had a little laugh during one of our off sounding songs. We knew the Lord was with us. Wwe rec'd a word from Him it said: "Take this time that I have given you and use it in My Name."------ The readings were; Psalms 28---and Ephesians. Ch. 1 ver. 1-9--The teaching was on how important it is to fellowship with your Sisters and Brothers in Christ and what a perfect place to do it - at the Chapel or someone's home. If we did not have this prayer group maybe our hearts would grow colder and we would not be in the right place with the Lord. We must keep the fire burning in our hearts and when we do the love of Jesus will warm us today and always. We ended in prayer and enjoyed a short time of fellowship. Tonight we will be at Anne's house at 7:30 p.m. for our 5th annual meeting. Next week we will be at Sal and Janice's house for the last time and will return on March 30 to the Church. Hope you all can make it tonight. Have a blessed week. Sal

Faith, Hope, and Love of Jesus will guard each of us and get us through it. We ended in prayer and shared fellowship time for a short while. Until next Monday at Sal and Janice house. God Bless.

Sal's Message
Peace is flowing like a river, and that is how it felt tonight. The love of Jesus and His gentleness was present as we sang, prayed, and praised our most loving God. Anne told how she felt the Lord saying to her, "It's ok, I am with you." after receiving Holy Communion at the funeral of her very dear friend a few days ago. She shared that after thinking about these words she realized they are true in any difficult situation we find ourselves. We had a reading from Psalms ch. 8---&---Psalms ch.34- ver. 1-11. There was sharing by Anna, as we learn that it is okay, our Lord will be there, we can get through anything as long as we have faith and trust. It okay to feel whatever you are feeling at the moment, because God is with us. We ended in prayer, and enjoyed some fellowship over some cake and coffee. We also found out that everything shared tonight was a confirmation. Next Monday will be at Sal and Janice house. We will share with our bibles and also share how the Lord has touched us this week. Until then God Bless and keep each of you in His Hands. Sal

Sal's Message
When we make the time to attend our prayer meeting we always come out feeling filled with the Holy Spirit. With the cold weather and staying warm in our home we sometimes get lazy, but tonight I am happy I attended. The fellowship and love in the Chapel warmed our hearts. The songs filled the chapel and the readings and teaching did warm us up. We may have had our coats on but Jesus filled us with His love. The readings were: 1 Corinthian ch. 1- ver. 4-9---Psalms 34 ver. 1-11---Psalms 28--, the teaching was given by Anne tonight. Anne's love for the Lord shone right through her. It was her anniversary of walking with the lord for 24 years. Anne found His love that day when she was born again. She brought in a picture of Smiling Jesus. You can see Him saying "Come Follow Me", and she has. The joy of the Lord is still with her. Two words were given tonight { Remain silent My children while I anoint each of you.} also { I turn to each of you My children and say "Come Follow Me". I will lead you on the right Path}. What a beautiful evening. Thank You Lord. Next week please bring your bibles and special verses and we will share how the Lord is working in our lives. God Bless, Sal

We Love you dear Lord, and we praise and worship you always. Tonight we sang, praised and opened our hearts to the Lord, and listened to His message. It came in different ways for each of us. What I heard first was a word which was given. It said,{ Take the love I have for each of you, and pass it on to others.} There was a reading from Psalm 96--and Proverb Ch. 3. ver. 13-35. The teaching was on a story about witnessing and receiving Christ in your life. You know we wait for the Lord to answer our prayers, and we wait and wait, but He will not fail us, it will be answered in His time, not ours. We must have faith and believe that our faith will hold us strong, until we are healed or our request is answered. Until next monday keep Christ in your life and have a safe and warm week. Bill's Reflections
See you cant lose going to the Prayer Group-- some gas --some time-- maybe-the fifty dollar entrance fee-just kidding-- but you cant really LOSE. Even if you don't believe in God you get something from the Prayer Group.
Well, I had a conversation with my bum legs and said' Look guys I haven't been there in months -MONTHS !!!!.-- I have to go. I know you guys don't want to go and I know these pills I am taking make me 'woozy' and out of sorts but I am asking you -please- lets give it a 'GO'. PLEASE'They thought about it and after much deliberation they said 'All right. We make no promises and remember to bring in the cushion that takes pressure off the nerves in your foot and we will go." "Deal" I said.
I rushed into the meeting-late-but I got there- took my seat. Looked around the room and there they all were. Some of the nicest folks on the planet. Give you the shoes off their foots. Hearts two sizes too big. Well, they treated me like a movie star back from a vacation or like a returning hero. There was Sal and dear wife Jan. I had missed their nagging of each other and Sal always being worried that he would say something wrong and she would start heckling him when he gave a 'teaching'. There was Anne-steadfast and true putting her heart and soul in front of God-there was Phyllis--kind hearted? gentle soul? Right up at the head of the class-throw adversity at her and she manages to stuggle through each and every time with never a complaint. There was Debbie- well all the stuff I said about the other folks applies to her except for the heckling. She and Bruce raising their beautiful family with all of the struggles that go along with doing that and against many obstacles --still smiling--Eleanore-day by day week by week struggling through life sharing the struggles of her boys and those close to her and yet being grateful during all of that-- Sophie-hadn't seen her in such a long time-but she was bringing her soul and her struggles to the group and asking that we join with her to find some answers to life's struggles-
Anna, well we hadn't seen each other in so long AS WELL-- BUT SHE BROUGHT 'GIFTS ' FOR PEOPLE-GIFTS THAT MIGHT MAKE THEIR DAYS AND THEIR STRUGGLE S EASIER TO BEAR-GERRI- SO QUIET- SO COMMITTED TO FACING DOWN--THERE IS THAT WORD AGAIN -'STRUGGLES'-WELL WE ALL HAVE THEM. GUESS WE WOULDN'T BE HUMAN IF WE DIDN'T HAVE THEM. MAYBE ON OTHER PLANETS THEY DONT HAVE 'STRUGGLES' BUT WE SURE GOT THEM HERE. THAT IS ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS THIS GROUP GATHERS EACH Monday-TO SHARE THEIR STUGGLES-TO ASK God AND THIS GROUP TO HELP THEM THROUGH THEM-TO FACE THEM AND COME OUT THE OTHER SIDE. WE ALWAYS DO SEEM TO MANAGE THAT--NOT EVERY TIME. WE ARE AS I SAID 'HUMAN' AND WE CANNOT LIVE FOREVER. It IS HOW WE LIVE AND FACE AND ENDURE AND COME OUT THE OTHER SIDE.
There was Lindy-quitely enduring-most always asking for help for others-she comes last to the table. And lastly --but not I-- am sure -someone is sitting next to her but forgive me please I just don't remember but I assure the same mold I am sure.
I have said often-I would trust my heart and soul to these folks.
Some of our group are off fighting through their struggles on their own 'taking a break' as they say. It has become a bit much to come to the group. It gets overwhelming at times. What IS the meaning of life'? Why has this befallen me? I have dome all that has been asked and look at this terrible situation that has overcome me my family? I don't get it. I need to step back. Hey who among us could blame you?. You pray your heart and soul out and sometimes it gets worse NOT better.
Well, I know I over simplify things by saying 'It is a job. A job we must do to to make way for the betterment of our souls'
I know easy to say but if I didn't firmly believe that I would--I would-? Well, I wouldn't be sitting here and I wouldn't be going to any Prayer Groups. Anyway I felt that I had to pray for a young girl at the Rehab Center where I go for body improvements. She was having terrible stomach pains --back pains-- and she had 'Colitis' a few years ago. She needed to see Doctors. I listened to her story and told her I believed firmly that she did NOT have Cancer. All of the symptoms seemed to say that was not her problems but she did a wise thing to seek a Doctors help. That would be a major problem for her because she was on Medicaid and it would be tough to find a good Doctor who would take her Insurance but she needed help. We all agreed that ANY Doctor was better than none and she did have to find out what was causing her all of this discomfort and Pain. I told she had to find a Gastrointesologist-? Told her all of these tests were absolutely painless and she would be OK. There was something wrong but I did not think it was major. I do not have a Degree in the Medical Establishment but I have a large degree of undergoing a test here or there. She had to try to find a Doctor to take her Case.
We prayed for many many more people and Causes and then Sal gave a wonderful inspiring talk and said something like what added up to" Tell your big 'struggles' how big your God is." That wasn't his exact words but I changed them to fit my 'theme'
At the end I had to chance to say some personal hellos' and I always feel like a few million dollars as to how this wonderful group treats me. Anna gave me a humongus-HUMONGUS --hug at the end. I had sent her an E-mail telling her how much of an inspiration her Husband Rich and she were to me when my legs were at their worst. No matter how much they hurt I thought of Rich and how his 'Struggles' made mine look like strawberry shortcake. It seemed to me that he hardly ever complained that much. I am sure he must have and I am sure Anna had to endure during all of that but while I visited the few times I did-he seemed to handle it all so very well. He lost both legs. How could I make a fuss over pains in both of mine?. She thanked me so very much for that e-mail -I thanked her so much for the inspiration. We spent about five minutes thanking each other. She did say something of great importance and I have heard this before-- 'She said 'BY you doing that you help keep Rich alive".!!
We tend not to talk about someone who has passed on'. This is a mistake. Their loved ones want to keep the memory 'Alive'. They do not want the memory to be forgotten like the person never lived. I am sure that is hard for all of us but we should try to honor the memory of the person and talk about them with the ones left behind. I know tough task-Tough.
Oh yes I saw that girl Michelle today. I told her we had prayed and asked her how she was doing. Did she find a Doctor.? She said a most amazing thing happened. She gone to the Hospital to visit her Mom. Her Mom worked there. By chance they both bumped into one of the Gastro. Doctors who worked there and who her Mom knew well. They told her her story. The Doctor said she would do the exams for free.

Sal's Message
The Chapel was filled with the joy of the Lord tonight. The Praise and Worship, and songs we sang brought us together in a very special way. Jesus was present in the Chapel and in each of us tonight. "Praise The Lord," the readings were: Psalm 121-- Matthew Ch. 18, ver. 10-13--and Jeremiah Ch. 30. A word was given [ I Have taken you on a journey. Be prepared, look back on the last few weeks, see where I have taken you.] The teaching was a story of "That's God," It talks about the good things we do for others and that when things happen around us it is not a coincidence. There is no such things as coincidence. It's God. That's right. {That's God working though you or for us.} We ended with the joy of the Lord with us, and we were reminded "Don't tell GOD how Big your storm is, Tell the storm how Big your GOD is!" Until next Monday at 7:30 p.m may the Lord bless and keep each of you safe this week. Love in Christ, Sal

Matthew, Ch.6-ver. 33- says, "Seek first the Kingdom of God." Well that is what we have been doing at our prayer meeting, seeking His kingdom and His Love. Yes, we found it again as we gathered in His Name. The Love of Jesus was with us and each week it is getting stronger and stronger as we gather in His Name. The reading tonight was from John ch. 6- ver 37- 40. The teaching was on How well we know the Lord, and how we live our life. Manny and Evelyn shared their trip and where Jesus had walked and many other things. We thank them for their sharing and theie gifts to
us. We have two more weeks, starting at 7:00p.m. until 8:15p.m. Have a safe week, and remember to pray before you vote tomorrow. God Bless

Tonight was a night of Peace, Peace, Peace, Peace. Very few words are needed to describe tonight. We had one reading from John ch. 3--ver. 31--36. This evening we sang. There was one short song that we read, it was called "He Touched Me," it goes like this ( He touched me, oh he touched me, and oh the joy that floods my soul. Something happened, and now I know, he touched me and made me whole.) That is what happened tonight. Praise The Lord. We will meet next Monday at 7:00p.m. until
8:15 p.m for 3 more weeks. Until next week may The Lord keep you safe. God Bless, Sal

We only had one hour and fifteen minutes to praise and worship our Lord, but time seemed to stand still. Tonight the Lord made us feel as if we were there so much longer. Why? Because His presence was so strong and the Holy Spirit was really moving in the chapel. Two words were given tonight, { " You are the apple of my eye and every good thing I created was for you."}-------also-------{" For the journey may be rough but the destination is rewarding."}--------- Please try to read Psalm
27- very powerful. The teaching was on "Living and everyday life of victory", always focusing on our Lord and praising Him in every situation and feeling the joy of the Lord in you always. Try to praise Him through the good and the bad times. Lift Him up as often as you can. We ended with a ver. from Philippians, ch.4-ver.13 "I can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens me." We will meet next week at 7:15 p.m. and please bring your bibles for sharing. Until then have a safe week and God Bless. Sal

Our Lord is a Mighty powerful Lord, and even though we were few in numbers, we were strong in song, praise, and worship. The Lord is so good to us and tonight as always He showed His love. "Praise The Lord", the readings are: Philippians Ch. 1 - ver. 3-11----Psalms 93---. A word was given { My Children you are My devoted servants and you will be with Me always.} The teachings were on the Love of Jesus, and a prayer card was given out, a very powerful one. When you come you will be given one. We ended with the love of Jesus in our hearts. We look forward to next week. Remember we start at 7:00 p.m. until 8:15 p.m. and please park in front of church. May the Lord bless and keep each of you safe this week. Love in Christ Sal

"This night was made for the Lord, let us rejoice, let us be glad." These words are from a song we sing in church, and tonight was made for the Lord. The gentle songs and praise brought us so close to Jesus tonight. The readings were: Luke Ch. 10-ver. 25-37----John Ch. 12. ver. 44-50---and Psalms 23. The teaching was first a little story, and then I read the song Amazing Grace and shared my walk with the Lord through this song. Maybe you can read the words and put your life in it. We felt the joy of The Lord in our hearts and His great peace. The next six weeks, the prayer meeting will be 7:00 p.m. until 8:15 p.m. because of Father Dan's scripture study. Also please park in the front for the next six weeks and enter through the door on the right and quietly pass Father Anderson library. This way if you stay later you will not be alone in the back. Please try to come on time so we can get the most out of our time with the Lord. Have a bless week . Sal

Thank You Lord for this prayer group and all that you bring to it. The fellowship tonight was beautiful. The songs were powerful and the bible readings so good. As we began tonight the Lord gave us a word. { " My Children listen closely tonight for you will be filled with My Holy Spirit."}--The readings were: Psalms 23----Psalms 72. ver. 1-4----Psalms 138 - ver.1-5-----and Revelation Ch. 18- ver 20-22 The sharing was Bible verses that touch you. Here are some. Please try and read them. Psalms 91- Evelyn had told about a custom of keeping your bible open to Psalm 91 in your home. Several members are now doing this, finding it a wonderful psalm and encouraging friends to also do it. Matthew - Ch,18-ver.20-22 and James Ch. 5- ver. 13-18. The sharing was strong and we felt the Lord speaking to us through these verses. Please try and find time to read or reread them. Debbie gave us each a copy of The Wooden Bowl and I have some to give out next week. Announcement: On Oct 13 and for six weeks we will be meeting from 7:00 p.m. until 8:15 p.m. because Father Dan is having an adult scripture study on the Prophets in the church. So if anyone is interested they can attend after the prayer meeting. The study starts at 8:30 p.m. until 9:30p.m. Also, this Friday there is a Healing Mass Oct. 3 at 7:00 p.m at St. Mary's Church, 1 Phalanx Rd., Colt's Neck. Fr. Jeff Kegley will be the sponsor. All are invited.

My dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ, The Lord welcomed us into His Holy Place tonight with open arms. We felt His peace and enjoyed the evening in song, praise and worship. The readings are: Psalms ch.18--ver. 1-4----Proverbs ch. 3--ver. 1-12---1 Chronicles ch. 16. --ver.1--36-----and Proverbs ch. 3--ver. 27--34. The teaching was on the Host, and how truly present He is in the Host. It was called the "Hidden Jesus".We must see Him in the Host at Mass and never find it hard to see His greatness and majesty in the hidden form of a Host. Until next Monday, when we will come with our bibles and share some of the verse that may have touched us. Have a safe and blessed week and may the Lord watch over you and yours. Sal

Tonight was special. As we gathered in Jesus' name, we found comfort and hope tonight. Yes, the Lord opened our hearts with His Love. As we sang, we receiveded different readings and if you have the time this week, you should try to read them. They are: Psalms 33- ver. 1-5---Psalms41- ver. 1-14----Psalms 100- ver. 1-5---Philippians. Ch. 4- ver. 4-9----and Psalms 91-ver.1-7. The teaching was a story Nails in the Fence, about how we have made wounds with family or friends and we need to ask forgiveness. Ask Sal for a copy. We shared and left with the joy of The Lord in our hearts tonight. Until next Monday, may the p peace of Jesus be with you this week. Sal

Thank you Eveyln and Manny for having us all at your lovely home. The warmth we felt and the presence of The Lord filled their home. We sang, praised and worshiped our Lord. We also enjoyed many different kinds of food tonight. Debbie shared a story about the wooden spoon and we were all touched by the story. It will be shared again. It was a night of fellowship which was needed by all of us. And as you know Jesus was present while we did so. We prayed before leaving and thanked Eveyln and
Manny and wished him a Happy Birthday this Wednesday. The Lord is definitely in their home. Until next Monday when we return to the chapel, May God Bless each of you this week. Sal

The chapel was filled with the Holy Spirit tonight. The sharing and praise was really strong. The music again by Mary Ann was just beautiful. We had a word, { My child let me show you the way, just remain open to My words tonight}. The bible readings were: Psalms 18. ver. 1-4----Psalms 24, very powerful. We shared on Bible verses that touch our hearts, and what they meant to each of us. This sharing is becoming stronger and stronger. Next week is Sept 1, we will not be meeting since it is Labor Day. We will be meeting on Sept 8, but not in the Chapel. Evelyn and Manny have invited us to there home for our prayer meeting and to celebrate Manny's birthday. I hope you all can make it to their home. They really want us there. Until we meet, May the Lord bless and keep you safe. Sal

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord for a great evening of prayer, praise and worship. Your Holy Spirit was so powerful in the chapel and the songs we sang and the love that went around the room was beautiful. The readings tonight and the songs all seem to fit together, The readings were : Matthew ch.5-ver 3-11----Psalm 36 and Psalm 150---. One of the many songs tonight was "Change My Heart O God." There was a word given also { I sense unrest in some of you, call on Me tonight and I will give you peace}. The teaching was a short story called The Brick. The point made was, "Don't go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention!" Sometime when we don't have time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us. It's our choice to listen or not. We will meet next Monday at 7:30 p.m and I ask if you could bring your bible, and we will share different Bible verses that have touched us or are important for us to hear. Have a bless week and God Bless. Sal

We were few in numbers, but strong in the Spirit. Last night we came looking for the Love of Jesus to touch us. Well, as we shared our feelings and allowed the Lord to speak to us while we sang and praised Him, He did just that. The Love of Jesus was spoken through the Bible verse from Matthew ch. 21 ver. 18-22-and - 1 Corinthian Ch. 12, ver. 1-11. We spent some time on this last Ver. in 1 Corinthian and I feel each of us should take time and read this. Our Lord showed us the different gifts of the Holy Spirit given to us. We should ask the Lord to guide us into what gifts he has for us. Many of us are already blessed with these gifts, but we need to pray and ask Him to open new doors and show us the way. Until next Monday I hope to see you all there. May the Lord bless each of you this week. Sal

The power of prayer is so strong, and tonight we felt it as we prayed, praised, sang, and lifted Our Lord in Name and Praise. The songs without the gift of Mary Ann tonight went well. She was missed but the Lord is Good and He helped us with our voices. The readings were: Luke, 17-ver. 5-6----Psalms 70 ver. 1--6-----Proverb 8. The teaching was on The Great Exchange. If you read Isaiah 53-ver 4-5 you will understand. Then Debbie shared a short story called :The Wooden Bowl". It was powerful and left us with some open sharing, and she was asked to read it again in the future. We closed in God's laughter and prayer. Have a blessed week, Love in Christ, Sal

Tonight was a night of sharing God's love through the bible, song, and open sharing. A song was played called " Jesus, there's something about that name" and yes there is. It is a powerful song that brings the love of Jesus closer to our hearts. There were two readings, Matthew 18-ver.10-14---and Luke 10-ver. 38-42. Tonight we shared on different bible verses that may have touched us and also what the meaning was for us on that verse. It was powerful. The sharing that went out to each of us was heart filling. We will do this again in another month. Until next Monday, God Bless, Sal

A Message from Anne
At last night's prayer meeting we worshiped the Lord with song and prayers. We heard the words from Psalm 96 to "Sing to the Lord a new song: Sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, bless His name." We also heard the Lord's words from Ephesians vs. 14-21. "For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and earth derives its name, that He would grant you according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, and that you being rooted and grounded in love may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God."
We lifted our needs, worries, and loved ones to the Lord trusting in His will and His mercy. We prayed asking God to bless, aid and heal all who were not with us last night and their families.
Manny who is a medical doctor gave a teaching on illness which is inevitable in our lives. We can use our illness for God's glory. Manny referred to paraticular saints and shared their attitude toward sickness. Illness can change us for the better when we are able to surrender to God. He also shared ways to help ourselves and the doctor when we are sick. His wife Evelyn, shared the story of her mother's healing from cancer after being told by her doctor that she had only 6 months to live. Her doctor had no explanation except maybe he made a misdiagnosis. Evelyn's mother had prayed unceasingly. Praise God!
Next Monday we will share how God has and is speaking to us through scripture.

Sal's Messasge
What a great evening we had filled with sharing and song. Praising the
Lord was just overwhelming. We made the time to come to this prayer
meeting and the reward that the Lord gave us was so great. The readings
were: Luke ch. 15-ver. 1--7---Luke ch.2--ver. 8---14----Matthew ch. 10
ver 34 thru ch. 11.----and Joel Ch. 2. The teaching was on Time. We
ask Jesus to help us to understand that nothing of this world is worth
our time if it does not include Him. We offer up praise and thanksgiving
for the gift of time. Next week Manny will be doing the teaching and
Anne will lead the prayer group. Please come and support them. We also
offer a special mention for Gloria Hanson. Keep her in your prayers.
Until next week, may the Lord keep each of you safe in His care. God
Bless Sal

A Message from Anne
I've been thinking lately how important it is to read scripture and that lately I have not been as faithful as I should be even though I know that God has spoken to me so many times through scripture in both powerful and quiet subtle ways. I thought maybe it would help all of us if one prayer meeting a month we shared on scripture verses that really spoke to us. We could tell what God has shown us from the past and the present. It may be about help God has given us in a tough time or it may be an enlightening or sudden understanding about the greatness of God or whatever!
I mentioned this idea at the last prayer meeting and got a very positive response. I suggested doing this the first Monday of each month. However, I'll be on vacation that week so perhaps we could begin at the July 28th meeting.
Also, if someone would like to write about a meaningful scipture and post it on our blog that would be great. If someone doesn't want to post something themselves they could e-mail it to me and I would be happy to post it. God does great things and many times He uses scripture. Let's open our bibles and help the Holy Spirit give us treasures and words of wisdom.
God bless you all! Anne

Take a group of people that love the Lord, mix them with song, praise, and worship and you get a beautiful love filled chapel. The love tonight that we shared with you Lord was great. The readings were many,( Psalms ch. 33- ver. 1-5----Jeremiah ch. 29. ver 11--- Isaiah, ch.43 ver. 1--3----Isaiah,60----and Psalms 48 ). The teaching was on Gifts. It says in Paul verse 7 "To each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good." TO EACH ONE, God has made you a specialist in some area of ministry, calling you to be a minister with your gifts. Go out there and use them. We ended in prayer. Debbie & Bruce have invited us to their home again in July for a picnic and a swim. The date is July 19, Sat. Debbie will send out more information later. Sal's Message
With the love of Jesus we came together tonight with sharings, praise, song, and worship. Jesus was our focus, more so tonight in the teaching and in our prayers. "Boy", how we love our Lord. The readings were:Psalms 105- ver. 1-6 and Psalms 19. - vers. 8-9-10- & 15. Phyllis read a prayer from Mother Teresa- { Lord, open our eyes that we may see You in our brothers and sisters. Lord open our ears that we may hear the cries of the hungry, the cold, the frightened, the oppressed. Lord open our hearts that we may love each other as You love us.} The teaching was on keeping our eyes on the Savior. Remember, if Jesus is who He is, there is no truth more worthy of your time, and no God more worthy of your devotion. Just a reminder, we will not meet next Monday because it is Memorial Day. We will be back the following week, June 2. Until then have a blessed and happy week. Love in Christ, Sal

Anne's Message
Last night, the day after Pentecost, we gathered again to pray. We worshiped the Lord in joy, and with song, aware that God has called us by name and is with us through His Spirit.
Thank you Geri for the very insightful teaching on the Prodigal Son. I especially liked the idea that the father did not just happen to see his son return that day. The father was watching in the distance every day waiting for his son.
Manny shared on Mary and mothers. This year it happened that Pentecost and Mother's Day fell on the same day and I just see now looking at my calendar that today is the Feast of Fatima. I shared the homily given by our deacon who mentioned all the concerns we have today and the manual he has found to be so helpful - holy scriptpure. He read a number of short passages from different sections of the bible which made me want to go home and read more and read every day. We thank you Lord for Your Words to us.
We prayed that Janice and Sal had a wonderful weekend trip and look forward to being together again with the Lord next Monday. God bless everyone. Anne

Sal's Message
Praise the Lord in all things! Tonight we gathered and asked the Lord to touch our hearts, and that's just what He sure did, first with Mary Ann's music and then with His love just flowing through each of us. Two words were given: { I will hold your hand this week and I will be with you.} and {My Children I am so pleased with each of you}. We had a reading from James ch.1 ver. 19-27-and Acts Ch. 19. ver.1-8. The teaching was on, Adoption of the Heart, and God's promise to us, from Romans Ch.5-ver. 8, "God showed his love for us in this way; Christ died for us while we were still sinners". God loves each of us and we are His Children. We have been adopted by God and are therefore an "heir of God through Christ". Until next monday, Janice and I will not be there but please come and support Anne, as she leads and Geri as she does the teaching next week. May the Lord Bless each of you. Love in Christ, Sal

Sal's Message
Each week as we gather is the same, yet different. What I mean is that we pray, sing, and praise the Lord, and even though we do this we come to feel the presence of our Lord with us. Yes, it's the same but we come alive and feel His love touch each of us. This reward is so great no one can take this from us. The reading tonight were: Psalms 62---and---Proverbs 1--11, Debbie gave a beautiful reading, and a word was given: { " If you believe and trust in Me, all things are possible"}. The teaching was on Devotion, and how strong is our Faith. We closed with joyful laughter and prayer. Until next week, may the Lord bless and keep each of you safe. Love IN Christ, Sal

We came together in His Holy Name, as we do each week, and we felt His love surround us. We thank Him also for all He has done for us, and is still doing. A word was given { Faith, Hope, and Love, take this with you tonight and give this to others." }-----The readings were from: Psalms 71----John 14-ver. 21--26----and Hebrews Ch. 9. We all shared on the Pope's visit to the United States, and how it made us feel. The love of Jesus came through again, in our songs, and prayers. Let us go and share this love with others as we have been told. Until next Monday, God Bless Sal

Sal's Message
What a powerful evening of sharing we had. Many went to the healing service Friday and the sharing was great. We sang three songs from a C.D. and enjoyed the music. We prayed and as we continued to pray the Lord touched each of us. The readings were: Psalms 34- ver. 1 thru. 11, and John Ch. 10, ver. 1--18. The teaching was on SIMPLICITY, and the question is Have we lost the real simplicity of a relationship with God through Jesus? Remember, Jesus does not force His way in. We have to invite Him into our hearts to be saved. I would like to know if anyone
would like to do a teaching next week or in the weeks ahead. Until then may the Lord keep each of you safe. Love in Christ, Sal

Sal's Message
When you are looking for some peace, try attending our prayer meeting. The Lord gives it to us free. All we have to do is get ourselves there. Last night was powerful because of our Brothers and Sisters who attended. The Lord gave us beautiful music from our gifted Mary Ann, and the readings and words given just added to the evening with our Lord. Jesus was so present to us and even if we had pain within we were at peace with the Lord. The readings were: Luke Ch. 4- ver. 4---and 1 Peter 1 ver. 3-9. Two words were given: ( " The Lord said to each one of us, "I Love you"--) and ("Place your pain at the foot of the cross then place your trust in me.") The teaching was on Job, "When faith really counts". Job placed his trust in God through all his trials. Let's take some time and read Job. If we can be as strong as him we can deal with anything, looking to our Lord for strength. Until next Monday, God Bless. Sal

Sal's Message
"Sing for joy, O heavens, and exult, O earth; O mountains, into singing! For the Lord has comforted his people, and will have compassion on his suffering ones. " And that is what we each felt tonight. As we gathered in His Name, the joy of The Lord was with us, and throughout the evening He showed it. A word was given at the beginning of our prayer time, { You can see the beauty in the flowers, they are here now, I see the beauty in your presences }. The readings were: Psalms 138---and----1 Corinthans Ch.3. The teaching was on The Joy of God's Presence. He reminded us that we do not have to overcome the troubles of the world by ourself, we must trust in what Jesus has already done. Wereally enjoyed tonight and thank the Lord for being so alive with us. Until next Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel, have a great and blessed week. Love in Christ, Sal

Tonight was as special as every monday has been. A word was given " I Am the Living God, I will walk among you," ----- and " Remain strong in Me for I will be your strength." The reading where: John 15 ver. 1-17---- John 17 ver.1-12--and Psalms 29. The teaching was on ( Eagles Wings ), God reveals himself through the Scripture. He said, " I will carry you on eagles' wings out of impossible situations, through the wilderness, and into the fullness of My purpose for your life." We closed in prayer, a beautiful evening. There will be no Prayer Meeting Next Monday March 24, but we will be back March. 31, at 7:30 p.m. Have a blessed Easter and God Bless, Love in Christ. Sal and Janice

Looking at Ourselves
Last night for the 4th year the prayer group met at my house to look at ourselves as a group to see how we are doing and decide what if any changes we should make. Are we on track doing what the Lord wants us to do? Sal, Janice, Bill, Gerri, Mary Ann, Lindy and I were present.
Prayer Meeting is at 7:30. If we begin prayer time by 7:40 which we often do, that is fine. We need a few minutes to visit. We average 10 people at our meeting now. So we are pleased with that.
Sal begins with a spontaneous opening prayer which we are happy with. It would be good if others would add to this yet we don't want to make this prayer too long. This opening prayer is followed by a short time of silence which we agreed was good. It helps to settle us.
When Mary Ann plays her guitar she chooses the music so she can achieve the proper flow. If someone would like a specific song played they can ask Mary Ann before the meeting if she would play it. When Mary Ann is not playing we have been using song sheets which have songs which are easy to sing. Then anyone can suggest a song. During this part of the prayer meeting we should be very focused on the Lord. This is when the spirit speaks to us. It's a time to avoid any chatter or distraction. We are as in the words of a song on HOLY GROUND.
During prayers of petition it is often difficult to hear what a person is saying. We agreed our job is to pray for these needs whether we hear everything or not. The person lifting up intentions should not use this time for a lot of detail.
Sal has taken on responsibility for teachings and we appreciate this. He has encouraged others to do teachings and most people have and we think that's great and should continue. Immediately following the teaching is a good time to share with everyone.
At the end of the meeting we lay hands on and pray for anyone who wishes to be prayed with
Sal mentioned ABC guidelines for a prayer meeting - Audible, Brief and Christ Centered.
We thank the Lord for His Blessings.

To all my Sisters and Brothers in Christ, We have received a special gift from our Lord, and that is the fellowship we have each week. The love of Jesus surrounded us tonight as it always does and you could feel His Peace touch you. The joy from Mary Ann's music filled the chapel and our prayers stormed the heavens. The reading were: Isaiah Ch.2, ver.2-5---Psalms 22---and Psalms 46. The teaching was on " What to do when you feel like giving up". In a word, God calls us to persevere. Take action in life. Don't wait for life to happen. Go out there and make things happen, even at our age. The Lord is good, so let us never fail Him. Let us be His Disciples. Until we meet next Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel, have a blessed week, and don't forget Anne's meeting tomorrow night at her house to talk about our prayer group. GOD BLESS, Sal

Sal's Message
The Lord is Good. As we gathered tonight in His Blessed and Holy Name, Jesus showed His love for each of us in a gentle kind of way. You may have felt His presence, or heard a word from the readings given, or just relaxed in the Lord. Whatever way we knew He was there. The reading are: John 14ver. 1-14----Isaiah 42--ver. 1-9,----and Psalms 33. The teaching was given by Manny who spoke on the Holy Spirit. He shared that the Spirit is a person with us, and without Him we can do nothing. He made the Holy Spirit come alive for us tonight. His witness was beautiful. Thank you Manny you are blessed by our Lord. We will meet next Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel and we will have our 4th annual meeting on Tuesday, March 11 at 7:15 p.m. at Anne's house. Please let Anne or myself know if you can attend. Thank You. Love in Christ, Sal
