Sal's Message May 2, 2011

What a wonderful evening we had with our Lord. Spending this short time each week with our Lord allows us to be filled with His love and helps us to grow deeper. A word of Prophecy was given,{{My Time Here With You Is Precious, Allow Me To Heal Your Broken Hearts.}}---also---[[ I Hear Your Call, I Hear Your Cry, Allow Me In. ]]--The readings were: 1 Peter 1 ver. 3-9--Isaiah Ch. 65--Psalms Ch. 8. If you have the time please read them again. The teaching was a short story about "Just Stay". Bill and Sal did a short skit on The Lord's Prayer, which I believe gave a deeper understanding of this beautiful prayer. Also had a lot of laughter. We had a powerful prayer time which to me show the strength of this prayer group. May the Lord continue to bless us. Mary Ann again came with her guitar and filled the Chapel with her music. We closed in prayer and will meet next Monday. Janice and I will not be there, so Anne will be leading the prayer group. Please come and support her. Also this will be a time to share anything from the Bible or what may be on your Heart. May the Lord Bless each of you and keep your safe. God Bless Sal

Review of Prayer Group by Geri

On April 11th we met at Anne Kolshorn’s home to review our prayer group and discuss any changes that maybe needed. The meeting was attended by our host Anne K, Sal, Janice, Lindy, Phyllis, Eleanor, Pat, Mary Ann, Anne S, Bill and myself. The question was raised concerning the opening prayer. Sal stated it did not only have to come from him. If you hear the Lord speak to you share it with us. Sal hears the Lord and sometimes he questions it but he knows he must step out in faith. Sometimes it makes no sense to us but it might touch or speak to someone else. If it does touch you, after the prayer meeting, you could tell that person “that really hit home with me”. If you are given a word of knowledge or wisdom, share it with the group. It was agreed that Sal would continue with spontaneous opening prayer.

After opening prayer, we have our quiet time where we come and center ourselves. It is important to give the Lord the opportunity to speak with us. Please refrain from any chatter or noise as we concentrate on the Lord. If you have a song you might have heard during the week or is in your heart you can contact Maryann prior to the meeting so she can incorporate that song into our worship. Our songs start with a fast melody which energizes our praise, and we end our singing with slow melodies. Listen to the words for they are powerful.

When we do intercessory prayer, if you cannot hear just pray for those needs as our prayers go out to the Lord. Please try and keep it brief. Many people, if not all, have done a teaching. The Spirit has been working in us. Sal has accepted the responsibility for teachings but all are welcomed to share their faith with one another. Laying on of hands will not change. We are flexible and if you cannot stay for the entire meeting, we can adjust our meeting to meet your needs. Sal asked if anyone was interested again in doing the GOD BOX, which is sealed with our prayers and intentions. It is never opened and perhaps at sometime we could burn the box with our prayers in it.

We agreed that there would not be any email of our meeting sent out to those who have not attended for sometime, we would pray for them, and of course if requested a copy would be sent to them. Anne volunteered to send a copy of our weekly meeting to Phyllis and Pat who do not have email. The ABC guideline was mentioned which stands for audible-brief and Christ centered.

Sal's Message April 19, 2011

" My Children I Hold Each Of You In My Heart, Remain Open And Allow Me To Heal You." This is what we heard as we began to pray. We also received a word from Ann K. "To Put All Our Concerns And Worries In His Hands. " Mary Ann blessed us with her music. We had a large gathering and we knew Jesus was with us. There was a reading from: Psalms 138 - which you should read again. Before the teaching Manny read a poem called "Desiderata" which was written in the 1920's. It was beautiful. If you want a copy let us know and we will print one up. The teaching was a story about a lady name Joanie, and the fears she had. When she was young, she had agoraphobia, the dread of open spaces. In time she turned to the Lord and through Reading, Praying, Trusting and Obeying, her fears were gone. In time God was strong in her life. Remember to be spiritual is to come to the place where there's nothing of us AND ALL IS OF GOD. We ended in prayer and shared for awhile. REMINDER NEXT MONDAY WE WILL NOT MEET, BUT RETURN ON MAY 2. Sal's Message Maech 28, 2011

Tonight was special because we prayed to Jesus to come into our hearts and into this Chapel, and He did, lovingly He touched each of us as we prayed for His presence. The Lord is so beautiful to each of us, and His words are also: {{ My Children You May Feel That I Am Not With You Sometimes But I Am With You Always. }}--also--{{ It Is Though The Grace Of God, I Am With You. }} The reading were: Psalms 50--Proverb Ch. 3--and--Psalms 83. The evening was on sharing what was on your mind. There was a Reading from the 23rd. Psalms, and then broken down each line, very powerful. There was a word of wisdom given also, " What is most valuable is NOT what we have in our lives, but WHO we have in our lives." ' We closed in prayer. NEXT WEEK we will not meet. The church is having a retreat for three days. The following week we will NOT MEET at the church, but will be at Anne K's house for our over due meeting to share on the pray group and if change is need. The Holy Spirit was with us tonight as we prayed and asked the Lord to come into our hearts. With the love of Jesus in the Chapel and the gift of Mary Ann playing her guitar and filling the chapel with God's music, we received a word of Prophecy- {{ My Children listen to My Words of Wisdom which you will hear through My Songs. }}-The readings were: Luke Ch. 18-ver. 15-17-Deuteronomy Ch. 30--Proverbs Ch. 2-ver.1--and Isaiah Ch. 40-ver. 31. Another word was given {{ You Are My Children, and I Am With You }}. The teaching was on Satan's subtle reasoning, how we can be selfish, but God calls us to put the good of others ahead of our selfish desire. So help us to see through Satan's twisted logic and agree to follow the Lord always. We shared and closed in joyful prayers. Next Monday March 28, is the end of the Month so it will be a night of sharing from our Bibles and or sharing what is on our hearts. Until then, keep Jesus close to you always. Sal

Sal's Message March 14, 2011

As Janice and I entered the Chapel we saw that something was going on in the Church with Father Dan, so I closed the doors and we sat quietly while everyone entered. We realized that we had to keep silence for awhile. So we started with quiet prayer and then prayed for our friends and family. By the time we finished they had left the church, and we began to sing and praise our Lord. There were many here tonight. A word was received early and shared { My Children Take Hold Of What I Have For You Tonight. Be Prepared To Use Your Gifts and Share Them With Others}. We had readings from: 1 John Ch. 3--and--Psalms 83. The teaching was on Enjoy Your Everyday Life. You have to be happy with the life that God has given you. He has a reason. Everything about you is by His design. So Embrace your life because God is never going to give you someone else's! We then shared on the gifts we have been given. With Love for Jesus in our hearts, we gathered last night to praise and worship our dear Lord. We come each week to grow closer to our Lord, through the fellowship of our Sisters and Brothers in Christ and the love we each have for our Lord. The readings were: Pslams 100--John 15- ver. 1--Pslams - 19- 22-31--and--Proverbs Ch2- ver. 1-8. Before the teaching Manny shared a short poem he had written--a Poem on Peace. Mary Ann's teaching started with a beautiful song, and then she shared her message, asking if the world has been sleeping while Chirst gave his message. Christ will be coming again, are we ready? There are many ver. in the bible that can help us. Here are just a few, Matthew 25. ver 5--Romans-ch.13- ver.11.--1 thessalonians Ch. 4-ver. 16-18. Sal's Message Feb 28

Tonight we were many in number. It was good to see so many gather together to Praise Our Lord. As we started to pray the Chapel was filled with God's words. We began to feel His presence. A word of Prophecy was given: My Children Your Faith in Me and My Love For You Will Heal Many Of Your Requests. The readings came from: Psalms 33--Psalms 39--and--Ephesians Ch.1-ver. 15-28. The evening was a time to share either on the Bible or something that happen to you last week. The sharing were great and many of us shared different topics. We closed in prayer and look forward to next Monday when Mary Ann will be doing the teaching. So please try and come and support her. Until then have a bless week. Sal

Sal's Message Feb 14, 2011

Last night as we gathered to Praise and Worship our Lord on Valentine Day, we were many, and it was great to have Bill back with us. With Prayer we began to feel the love of Jesus touch each of us, and as we sang the joy of Jesus came over us. The readings were: Psalms Ch. 138--Psalms Ch. 46--and--Psalms 145. I believe if we have time this week we should read each of these Psalms. The teaching was given by our Brother Manny. Itwas on Angels, what are Angels, and God's creation of Angels and their work in are Life. He continue with an in-depth study of Angels, and we thank him for his interest in this area. We share a little and closeed in prayer. Reminder next Monday we will not Meet. It is Presidents Day and the school is close, it may be to cold. We will meet on Feb. 28, this is the last Monday in the Month, and that is our Bible sharing night or whatever you may want or need to share on. Sal's Message February 7, 2011

The Chapel was filled tonight with many of our Prayer Family. It was so good to see everyone. We sang songs from the Red Books and after opening prayer we began to feel the presence of Our Lord. The short time we have with the Lord each week helps each of us to grow stronger in the Lord. The singing, praising and praying brings it all together. Then there is the fellowship we have before, during and after. All this is mixed together and we get to see God's love working. A word of Prophecy was given, {{ In This Holy Place Tonight You Shall Find Peace, Trust In Me.}}The readings were: Psalms Ch. 2--Psalms 150--and--Psalms 89. The teaching was on Trust Through The Trials. It was, I believe, a very powerful message, so remember, He is a faithful God and He will always come through for us when we Trust Him. Amen. We closed in joyful prayer, and will meet Next Monday at 7: 30 p.m. Please try to attend. The teaching will be given by our Brother Manny. Come and support him. It has been two weeks since we gathered to Praise the Lord and as we began singing the Joy Of The Lord took over. We sang and laughed and felt the Lord touching our hearts. A word of Prophecy was given, {{ My Children Tonight I Will Share A Word With You. Take That Word And Use It This Week. }}--The readings were: Jeremiah Ch. 31--Psalms Ch 34- ver. 1-13.--and--Philippians Ch. 4-ver. 4-9. Another word was rec'd, {{ I Hear Your Cry My Child Leave Your Pain At The Foot Of My Cross. }}. The teaching was on forgiveness and Gratitude or Grumbling. We have to make choices in our life. Grumbling overlooks blessings, but Gratitude finds blessings everywhere. So ask God for His forgiveness, and with a little practice, anyone can master the art of Thankfulness, and also have Gratitude. We gathered tonight to Praise and Worship our Lord, and as we began with our hearts a little heavy, each one carrying some personal need, we heard the Lord speak. " My Children Take The Time Tonight To Remove The Heavy Chains That Are Weighting You Down, For I Have The Key To Your Heart." The readings were: Psalms 46. ver. 10---Hebrews Ch.4-ver.14---and---Psalms-90--&--119. The teaching was on being humble - not allowing pride to step in, asking our Lord to humble ourselves and trust in Him that our prays will be answered. We must be still and know that He is God. It means to stop trying to make things happen yourself and to allow the Lord to show you what you need to do to cooperate with His plan and purpose for you. So we must place our trust in Him. We closeed in prayer and felt God's Love. REMINDER WE WILL NOT MEET NEXT MONDAY, IT IS MARTIN LUTHER KINGS BIRTHDAY. WE WILL GATHER AGAIN ON JAN. 24. Please stay well and have a blessed few weeks. Sal's Message December 6, 2010

As we gathered in the Chapel for the last time this year, we could feel the chill in the air from the cold out side, but that did not stop us from Praising our Lord and opening our hearts to Him. As we did it warmed up a little. ""Very Little""- The joy did not stop because of the cold, the reading were: Proverb Ch.3--Psalms from different ver.#145-59-119-and-30--Revelation Ch. 2 ver. 3-7 and Philippians, Ch. 1-ver.3-11. The word JOY came up and Geri said Joy- "Jesus over You". We will try to remember this. The music was beautiful as Mary Ann played, and it really made us feel the presence of oure Lord. The teaching was on gifts with hidden price tags. We as believers can receive the wrong gifts from false teaching, but if we trust in Jesus we can receive the gift of eternal life. We also shared on how God wants us to paint our life with JOY, as we heard earlier. We ended in sharing and deep prayer and looking forward to next Monday as we gather for a Christmas Prayer Meeting with song and sharing and laughter at our home. Hope you all can make it. Tonight was a very cold evening. While the wind was really blowing and some snow flakes were in the air we gathered in His Name. We shared with each other and then opened with prayer. A word of prophecy was given, {{ TAKE THIS TIME TONIGHT MY CHILD AND ALLOW MY PRESENCE TO TOUCH YOUR HEART.}}--We did just that. The readings were: Psalms-92--and Psalms 23--. The teaching was --Do not grow weary in doing good, and you shine as lights in the world. So " let your light so shine before men, that they see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." So please remember that even the smallest light can make a difference in the Darkened night. So no matter who your boss is you are really working for God. So whatever we do we do it in Jesus Name. Merciful Savior Prayer Group, Yes we are proud to be a member. Aswe gathered in Jesus Name, the joy of The Lord came upon us. We sang and praised the Lord and allowed Him into our hearts. A word of Prophecy was given-{ Do Not Turn Away From Me, I Am Your Neighbor, I Am The Face In The Streets, I Am Around You.}-The readings came from: Psalms 54--Psalms34--Psalms 106--and--2 Peter ch. 1- ver. 3-9. Phyllis gave the teaching on Gifts. She shared so many interesting things. She said that we have each been given different gifts and the gifts are for you own enjoyment and also to make life good for others. Spiritual gifts ,all different, are to be given out and shared with others. Phyllis did a get job. She gave each of us a bag of simple gifts and explain what each one meant. We ended in prayer and left with the joy of Jesus in us. Next week there will NOT be a prayer meeting, but will return on Dec. 6. May each of you have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. God Bless Sal

I would like to thank Anne K. for leading the prayer group tonight. I really was not up to it. As we gathered in His Blessed Name, we could feel the strength of Jesus starting to grow stronger in the Chapel. As prayer began and we all started to get into deep prayer, a word was given, {{ Now Is The Time My Children To Open Your Hearts And Minds And Allow Me To Work With You.}}-Guess what that is what happened tonight. We opened our hearts and minds and He began to work in us. Another word was given { Keep On Praying Even When You Are Not Up To It. }--The readings were:-Psalms 36-ver. 5-9--and--Proverb Ch. 3, which was confirmed by Mary Ann. Take some time to read them this week. The teaching was given by Manney on Faith. He shared that Faith is a gift from God. We must believe in Jesus, and Faith is the beginning of Eternal Life. He shared of Peter's faith, and Mary's and many others. We must move forward, remember Christ is in us, and in front of us. We ended in singing The Lords Prayer and joyfully ended the evening. How much do you love Jesus? Well, if you came to the Prayer Meeting tonight, you would have seen how the Love of Jesus was surrounding us in the Chapel. Through song and Praise we could feel His mighty presence. Thank you Lord for being so powerful tonight. A word was given-{{ Be Still And Know I Am Here And I Will Hear Your Cry.}}--The readings came from: Psalms 40--and--1 John Ch. 1-ver. 5-10. The teaching was on watching the pebbles in the road. As we walk with Jesus we watch for the big problems, but we must not be surprised with the little ones. Little sins can add up to big troubles. Also shared on having a Merry Heart. How do you get one? By thinking and acting positive and declaring that true joy begins deep inside. So if your heart is spiritually filled it will show on your face. To My Sisters and Brothers in Christ, Sorry this e-mail is late, but we just return from our trip Upstate New York. I could not get on line Monday evening after the Prayer Meeting. It was a night of sharing and singing for us, we enjoyed the evening and we knew that the Lord was with us. A word was given--{{ My Children You Have Many Questions tonight, Come To The Foot Of My Cross And Allow Me To Answer Them.]] The readings were: Psalms 27--Luke Ch. 22 and Micah Ch. 6. Sal's Message October 18, 2010

Coming together each week we learn to grow deeper in our walk with our Lord. Yes, slowly we grow but we learn how much He loves each of us, when we pray, praise and worship our Lord together. And this week was no different, a word of prophecy was given, {{ MY CHILDREN I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU OR FORSAKE YOU, I WILL ALWAYS BE BY YOUR SIDE. }}---The readings were: Psalms 28--Psalms 4--John Ch.17. ver. 20-24. Please try to read them again. Another word was given, {{ DO NOT HOLD BACK MY CHILD OPEN UP YOUR HEART AND LET ME IN }}. The teaching was on Faith as a Channel. We must be plugged into the power source, which is our Lord Jesus Christ. Andhow do we stay plugged in? We do that through a personal relationship with God--which requires time. The victory is in God. So please continue to pray and fellowship and attend church and prayer groups, and you will grow closer to oure Lord. Remember you cannot do it alone. Sal's Message - October 4, 2010

" My Children, As I Walk Among You Tonight I Will Anoint You With My Love."

Yes, and that is what are Lord did as we gather in His Blessed Name. The night was filled with rain outside, but in the Chapel we were warm in His Love, as we sang and Praise the Lord He spoke to us, through some bible ver. from: Jeremiah Ch. 29-ver. 11-14--and--John Ch. 7-ver. 37-39. The teaching was given by Anne Slate on Forgiveness, and if we don't forgive it can eat at us in many ways. Time now to forgive, pray and find inner peace and healing. Thank you Anne for a great teaching. Manny read a short story on 'Listen' it also was beautiful. If you need a copy we can give one to you.
