Sal's message
Tonight we gathered as always looking for the Love of Jesus in each of us, and if you were there you know we found it. The peace and love of our Lord was again a gift from Him. One of the songs we sang tonight was "You Are Near" and was He ever. His love quietly filled the chapel. The readings are: Matthew Ch. 7-ver. 7--12,------Psalms 16, and Proverbs Ch. 2. The teaching was on God's Promise In The Crown of Thorns, which was the fruit of sin, thorns, spiny, prickly, cutting thorns. These thorns pierced His heart through our sins. So take a good look at the cross and see how He died for you and the pain He felt. Look at the crown this week and say, ( HE DID IT FOR ME, JUST FOR ME). We will meet again next week at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel and we will be blessed to have Manny do the teaching so keep him in your prayers this week. Until next Monday, God Bless. Sal

Sal's message
Dear Sisters and Brothers, For many of you that could not make it tonight you all were missed. For all who attended tonight, we had our time with the Lord in song, praise, and sharing. The sharing was great and the deep prayer time was felt by all. The reading came from Psalm138---and a word was given, ( My Children place your faith and trust inMe for I will never leave you.) And tonight He stayed with us. While we prayed you really could feel the power of prayer being lifted up. A short story was read, and a teaching came out of it. It was sad and beautiful at the same time. It was about going out of your way to help someone, the little things not always the big things. We learned that people may not remember exactly what you did, or what you said, but they will always remember how you made them feel! So every morning when you open your eyes tell yourself that it is special. Every day, everyminute, every breath truly is a gift from God! Until next monday at 7:00p.m. in the Chapel, may God bless and keep you all safe. Sal

Sal's Message
The night was cold, but we had eight loving sisters and brothers come out to the chapel which was warm and felt good, but what heated the chapel was the Love of Jesus, through our songs, prayers and praise. The gentle songs filled our hearts and the power of our prayers reached the heavens. We know that there is healing in the works as we prayed for all our sisters and brothers. The readings were, Psalm 28-----Psalm 34-----and John10-Ver. 1--18. I shared a short story about a boy who believed "God Lives Under The Bed." The boy was mentally disabled but lived a simple but faithful life. He loved God and kept him close, not only under the bed but in his heart. This we must also do, trust God and be child like, and maybe our faith will grow stronger. I ended with, ( FRIENDS ARE ANGELS WHO LIFT US TO OUR FEET WHEN OUR WINGS HAVE TROUBLE REMEMBERING HOW TOFLY.) Until next Monday at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel. Have a blessed week.

Our prayer meeting began with the good news that Eleanor's son does not have macular degeneration as he had been told and his vision should improve. Eleanor had stood in the gap for him ( that is we laid hands on Eleanor as we prayed for her son) last week. Thank you Lord for answered prayers. Readings for the evening were Romans 8 vs 1-17 and Psalms 139. Gerri gave a teaching on the cross. She told how she was watching a tv show and heard an announcement for the following show about the cross. Her intent was to change the channel but before she knew she was looking at Jesus face on the cross. She told herself that it's just an actor playing the part but she was drawn in thinking about the human Jesus and how he must have felt in his humanness. She saw the love in His face. Jesus didn't give up on us. He died for us.
Next Moday we will meet at 7 pm because Fr. Dan will be using the church for teaching on the passion. See you then. Have a blessed week. Anne
