Sal's Message Aug 29

We all came through the Hurricane except for some that have no electricity. Please pray that their power goes on soon. After this time it is important for us to settle down and feel God's presence. A word was given {{ My Children I Hold Each Of You In My Heart, And I Will Never Abandon You. }} The readings were: Samuel Ch.2 ver.29-37---Psalms 23---Psalms 27--and--1 Peter 1 ver. 3-9. The teaching was on " Can we really trust God to use our suffering for good." Romans 8 ver. 28 says, " And we know that for those who love God ALL THINGS work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose." After listening to the Lord's message, we must take each trial and apparent tragedy which taste bitter to us, and let God carefully measures out and mix all the good and bad together and in the end He will present to us a wonderful and perhaps unexpected goodness. We shared on this and closed in prayer. Please be aware that for the next TWO WEEK THERE WILL NOT BE A PRAYER MEETING, WILL NOT. This coming Monday is Labor Day, and the next week Sept. 12. Janice and I will be away, and many of our prayer family cannot make that week. We will return on Sept. 19. I hope you all can make it. The teaching will be { Is suffering really necessary to build character? }Come and find out. Also Evelyn and Manny have asked if you would join them this Saturday at their home from 9:00 a.m. on until late in the day for praying the rosary 40 times - 2000 Hail Marys. You can come and leave whenever you want. This is all day prayer service just walk in and pray. Food will also be served. There address is 658 Holmdel Rd. Hazlet, 07730 - Phone # 732-888-4751. I hope during some part of the day you can pray the rosary. Until Sept. 19 when we will gather together have safe and bless two weeks. Sal and Janice
